    truly awful. Just bad. Not even enjoyably bad or worth mocking, just not quality work. Of course Complex would continue taking the Beats by Dre paycut and give this pile of mediocrity 4 out of 5 stars. The amount of breathing room you guys are willing to give to preserve Aftermath's legacy is embarrassing. Can you imagine if Kendrick released this? I mean, its feasible to imagine since his hands are all over it. People would be sooooooooo disappointed. What a f---ing garbage lineup too. This isn't a proper followup to any of Dre's work. Here's a handy analogy for you: This is like if Eminem dropped the Marshall Mathers LP, waited 14 years, and then released only the original cuts off of Shady XV. None of these songs will ever be remembered even 2 years from now.

    I would have liked to enjoy this so idk why you think I'm trolling. I listened to The Chronic, then 2001, then this, and it made me sad.

    I've listened to all three albums, and I think this one holds up just as much as those two. In fact, I think Compton may be better than the original Chronic, but I'm going to have to listen to all of Dr. Dre's stuff again. Here's how I would rank his albums

    I agree with this. His production is off the chain right now. I understand all the older people are gonna say The Chronic is an untouchable classic but it's just my opinion.

    You have to understand music has changed so much in the past 25/30 years that dre's been rapping. No s--- Compton isn't gonna sound anything like the chronic or 2001 but overall I enjoy the album. I think it was worth the 16 year wait
