I've heard this album compared to Shady XV twice now. How about you just log off, go f--- yourself and die?

What makes you think someone's sound is going to stay the exact same way after 15+ years? You know how many ideas and experiences you can go through in that amount of time?

He clearly proved he still has the same skills we all admire from Dre, but no way is it possible to sound exactly like The Chronic or any other project he may have been involved with that long ago.

To simply put it, this project is not bad. Accept the fact that music evolves, just as much as the artist does and is willing to.

    you're a f---ing r-----, holy s---

2015 is the era of dumb n----s who have lost the ability to enjoy music

This album, production wise, sounds ahead of its time. Did you hear that beat on Genocide? Deep Water? Loose Cannons? etc. etc.? Did you hear the variety of song structure, the deviation from conventional song composition interwoven with social commentary and signature Dre braggadocio? Every featured artist delivered and went far above expectations. Kendrick completely killed his features. Eminem completely killed his as well. The newer artists on this also shined as did Xzibit, Cube, and Snoop. This album was a f---in celebration of hip-hop artistry with a sound that is ahead of its time and will surely set a standard for all future rap releases. This album will stand as a testament of West Coast Hip-Hop, along with Dre's other albums.

The Chronic used the music trends of 1992 and went ahead of its time, 2001 did the same in 1999, and Compton did it 2015. And the title "Compton" only elevates this album even higher. There are elements of this album that left me f---ing grinning, completely shocked from the level of talent, intention, and execution. That part at the ending of Deep Water when that MFer is drowning as the trumpets pan across the headphones, all along the crisp trap esque, beautiful production was heavenly. It was incredible.

I could go on and on but n-----, i dont need to because your hella f---ing stupid. f--- off and go enjoy some music

just accept that people change and music evolves over time, if dre had of stuck with one sound we wouldnt of got 2001.

the f---ing singing is piss-poor, lacking quality or merit. Dre does not have the melodic qualities of eminem or 50 and his choice of guest vocalists is not very good. marsha ambrosius is to the genre of soul what skylar grey is to singer-songwriters. Bland, uninteresting, nothing to hook the listener. Couldn't Eminem get Sia in the booth? Why settle for Asia Bryant, the non-union bargain equivalent?

The losers that dre has tried to put on are just as bad as the previous proteges that failed to blow up, only this group has even less people from Compton. It's a real shame that YG and Boogie got ignored in favor of people like king mez and anderson paak. Shout out to jon connor for blowing his chance at getting any more successful, as per usual.

Also, I don't mind ghostwriting nor credited writers on a track but if you're going to have Kendrick write the lyrics and then bite his flow, just get Kendrick to f---ing do it.

Seems more like a personal issue more-so than the record being actually bad. When the hype dies down we'll see differing opinions but perhaps give it another chance Blorpy. The album feels so well put together but it's far from flawless so I agree with that.

Dre has been using jazz/funk since The Chronic that's pretty much vintage West Coast (shoutout to DJ Quik for implementing that in a awesome way for years).
