A prime Jay had a chance to listen to Marshall's verses on Renegade before he made his own, aka he could have spent as long as he wanted to out-write them... Jay-Z is not the same caliber of writer or rapper as Eminem. Lyrically or vocally / performance wise. Not even close. I mean, it's literally laughable how far off he is.
