    A prime Jay had a chance to listen to Marshall's verses on Renegade before he made his own, aka he could have spent as long as he wanted to out-write them... Jay-Z is not the same caliber of writer or rapper as Eminem. Lyrically or vocally / performance wise. Not even close. I mean, it's literally laughable how far off he is.

    Honestly don't think there's another big rapper alive who could compete with the lyrical dexterity on Em's verse on speedom.

    Imagine Jay Nas Biggie Kanye PAC Game, anyone being able to write verses like that. Just technically I mean.

    And this was Marshall in the twilight of his career just messing around, 20 years down the line. Having already cemented himself as one of the best ever, and certainly the biggest.

    I'm not saying he's better those artists by any means but he's so versatile and persistently dedicated to trying to improve, more than anyone ever, even if this actually makes the music worse.

    At his peak aka 98-2002 I don't think anyone could roast him, although you could obviously prefer other artists.

    Eminem didn't come back and do anything after that line. He came back and talked over a track. And had his daughter say cringy things.

    I mean Ja Rule insults the guy's mother, wife and daughter and he comes back with "I'm gonna shove my Oscar up your a---"????LMAO

    The real comedy is that during this beef IIRC everything Eminem was saying was projection telling Ja to go pop more pills or get your boy off those pills. Dude was already deep into his addiction shaming somebody else for theirs.

    Lastly, 50 did the damage to Ja. Not Eminem.

    The Game. And before you post that video of Game saying nobody can mess with Eminem keep in mind Game took shots at Eminem using his dead best friend. We never heard anything from Eminem about that. We did get a brutal Mariah Carey does though!
