Oct 3, 2021 ... We throw the Jessie Reyez songs and Venom (which is not bad). That's how good it is. The Ringer, Greatest, Not Alike, Stepping Stone, , Fall are all flawless performances, flawless writing and flawless production. Lucky You, Normal, Kamikaze are good songs lacking a little in comparison but some here on sx80 could prefer one of them to the 5 others I've put up there, which says a lot about the quality. For real, I think we're not talking about Kami as a classic only because there's that poor ending, a lot of the tracks slaps hard, Em's on fire, with lyrically great speaking about good subjects, and the production can't be trashed since it's exactly what the haters of the previous projects wanted from em (Mike Will, Tay Keith...)
Oct 3, 2021 I honestly might consider it a classic anyway. Also, even with those things... they still feel they belong. It's a great, great album. I disagree about 'Lucky You' and 'Kamikaze' lacking too. Those are two of my favourite tracks.
Oct 3, 2021 I only like Venom out of those 4, but I wouldn't put it on Kamikaze cause it's so out of place being a very specific soundtrack song. At least Survival passed as a regular Em song.
Oct 3, 2021 I think it’s not a Classic, even if it has his top 5 (maybe even the best) pure rap song on it. there are a few things I would change but still it’s his second best project after comeback and: Good Guy hate shouldn’t be allowed.
Oct 3, 2021 The Ringer, Greatest, Lucky You, Stepping Stone, Not Alike, Kamikaze, Venom, Good Guy all fire as f---! And then Fall ehhh (kinda - verse/rapping dope. beat/hook atrocious). Good Guy stays 100%. Perfect verse, and sounds immaculate. Nice Guy probably tarnishes how dope Good Guy is. Normal is dope imo. Love how different it is, but the 2nd half kind of drags and brings it down. If it was more like the first half and more polished it’s a winner. Special mention here for Em’s Not Alike verse. That is just sheer f---ing brilliance. I don’t think it gets talked about enough tbh.

Oct 3, 2021 I actually listened to Kami front to back a couple of times over the last few days. I forgot how good it was tbh but some sons I just don't like. Lucky You for example is wayyyyyyy over hyped and possibly the worst song on the album. Stepping Stone remains a solid 502/10.

Point is I don't think it's the entire song that went over board. But yeah I kinda doubt it'll leak since the stuff that leaks is mostly old and this is from Kamikaze era so
Oct 3, 2021 We definitely can't know for sure, but I think Em would have said "a bit too far" if it was about only a line or two and not bigger part of the track. Whatsoever, for me it's not really just the "too far" part but honestly I would love to hear anything more that's unreleased from the Kamikaze era. And about the leaking, yeah I know it's far from certain to happen, but surely more secured places had been broken into than Em's vault. xD Also, I know there hasn't been many leaks on his newer s--- while been literally none on his latest three albums, but if any of his valuable leftovers start to somehow leak then I believe it's gonna be bound for fans to get various s--- from at least multiple if not all eras including probably this one. :D I hope though that now since Em is kinda a bit more interactive with his fans in these recent years and has already most likely understood from the half dozen leaks about two years ago that many of his fans have high interest in his unreleased s---, that he gonna maybe in some near future release a compilation album like Care Package what Drake did two years ago. d--- I really went this much deep about just one single f---ing track which might isn't even that good as I hope it to be. LMAO
