Oct 4, 2021 We have a full album of "Eminem killing someone"... I don't see how that would match the Kamikaze vibe. Kamikaze the song is what the worst parts of Encore had been intended but failed to be (goofy but enjoyable). I love the Fack 2017 part. I see that Nice Guy gets the most flack overall and I agree that it and Normal are less memorable than the rest but still, not a bad song at all. To summarize - there are plenty of classic songs on that album and not a single one that is unanimously bad. Kamikaze is definitely a classic!
Oct 4, 2021 Good Guy gets a pass easily just because of that flow and that beat tho. Plus, it kinda goes well with s--- my d-ck song before that. It's not even that bad and not that long anyway. He has a bizarre verse on amityville, under the influence was arguably worse than good guy and it's on the same level as nice guy. We all know if under the influence was released today by EM, you all would s--- on it soo hardd. So my point is, even the albums you consider to be a classic don't have 10/10 songs all the way thru. Plus, Venom is a perfect song for what it is and it's just like a bonus track he threw at the end of the album anyway. In fact, last 3 songs can easily be regarded as bonus tracks anyway. So you can call it classic, it won't bother me.
Oct 4, 2021 Whether you love or hate Kamikaze really just comes down to if you are a fan of competitive rap. Some people just want to vibe to their music in which case Kami is certainly not the album for them, others are huge into the competitive aspect of rap in which case Kami is technically proficient and could be considered classic status. If you don't like competitive rap, more than half of the album will be unlistenable to you which is the reason for most of the negative reviews
