Aug 28, 2024 Drake has surprisingly offered fans a preview of an unreleased Kendrick Lamar collaboration as part of his latest 100 Gigs content drop. The video shows Drizzy listening to a beat in the studio alongside longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib, with the Toronto native calling the bouncy instrumental “crazy.” After the track finishes playing, he hypes up an unnamed guest feature, saying: “For him, where he’s at, I know he’s gonna murder that s---.” Shebib then revels that Drake was referring to his future foe, remarking: “When he told me Kendrick, it just made so much sense. Oh, the brilliance! So good.” The beat being played in the clip was later used by Action Bronson for his 2015 song “Actin’ Crazy,” which was produced by 40 and Dreamville’s Omen. While the video is undated, there’s a good chance it stems from around 2012 or 2013 as much of the latest 100 Gigs footage documents the making of Nothing Was the Same. Apparently, there is another unreleased track that drake / Kendrick collaborated that was not released https://x.com/realalmightee/status/1828622303564886122
Aug 29, 2024 He "BIG" tweakin'. Poetic Justice is legitimately the best song with the both of them on it. It's d--- near objective. Just say you don't get booty, Marsh. Jeez.
Aug 29, 2024 Drake strikes me as someone who has no idea what to do next. I like some of these songs he’s dropping, but how he’s dropping them is strange. He has no idea what the people want from him so he leaks these random loosies on his website and finsta to see what sticks, then he might put them on DSPs. I don’t think that’s a great way to operate as an artist. Plus, he quite clearly can’t take a loss gracefully so he keeps doing these weird social media posts subbing Kendrick and all that. It’s not looking good for him, and I worry about the quality of his next album.
Aug 30, 2024 He has always been so protective of his “brand” and he has so many powerful people/corporations that have unfathomable financial investment in him that it’s hard to believe he does pretty much anything on his own accord. I’m sure there has been, and still is, a lot of panic going on behind the scenes along with extremely careful planning. It reeks of a marketing approach of “test the waters and get a social temperature in the most careful way possible.” They’re taking a temperature to find out 1. What is the general public perception of Drake now that the dust has settled a bit 2. What kind of music do people want from him next that is gonna get the best public reaction… aggressive, hungry Drake… soft Drake… do they want him to keep going at Kendrick? He has been carefully testing all of those waters, conveniently without a reliable way for the public to see what kind of stream #s he’s doing on these drops. But you can be d--- sure his label knows if and how much his popularity has dipped
Aug 30, 2024 He needs a fun album unlike the last 4 or whatever, something people will keep going back to. And hits, cause that's what he does, for himself and others.
Aug 30, 2024 There’s nothing an artist with a half a billion dollar record deal does on a whim or for the f--- of it. Drake isn’t a person, he’s McDonalds
Aug 30, 2024 Some of Drake's biggest songs were just released like this. Then people liked one of them or two and they pushed them, Guwop
Aug 30, 2024 It’s a carefully planned marketing strategy, not just releasing music because he feels like it
Aug 30, 2024 It feels like a mix this time since he dropped a lot of stuff he had collecting dust. The videos of him recordings hits for other artists, that's obviously a good idea lol

Sep 30, 2024 “Better show” and Drake don’t go together. Drake been doing lame concerts wearing dinosaur outfits and bitching on stage in between songs. We don’t wanna see a Furry Halftime Show, no thanks
Oct 1, 2024 If he picked his best hits + great guests he would easily do something way more entertaining. Kendrick bout to do f---ing Problems with ASAP Floppy
