probably the best solution atm, but would need to have it professionally done.

with everything i've read, homemade concoctions & over the counter pesticides aren't worth the effort and can only set things back. DDT was used to k--- the b------s in the past (and it worked), but as a result, the majority of bed bugs encountered today are immune to lighter pesticides. If attempting to diffuse on my own via home/otc remedies, and I then decide to have an Orkin man come out, they'll say that they need to come back later after the home remedies have subsided in order to get a proper examination.

Eat kebab with Carolina Reaper sauce all over it, wait a few hrs, go to bed and fart. You're welcome!

To be fair, I thought you meant the site was attacked by bots or something! Not actual bedbugs. That sucks.

A while back I found a bed bug in my bed after spending a night at a filthy motel. And every week after that i'd find a couple more.

If you ever spend a night at a hotel you have to be very careful. Do not let your clothes, suitcase or whatever on the bed. And when you get home put everything in the washer/dryer.

Also do not put the things you just brought back from the hotel onto your own bed.

All it takes is one bed bug to latch onto your s---, then you bring that little f---er home and all h--- breaks loose.

Those tiny MFers are tenacious af and can hide in the tiniest crevices. Not to mention they reproduce like crazy.

If it was me i'd honestly toss the matress away and clean every part of the room before buying a new one. You can also call an exterminator. It always depends on how big the problem is.

Another solution could be buying one of those plastic protectors with a zipper for your mattress. You could get that to protect your new mattress or just get one to trap the bed bugs on your existing mattress. Make sure to inspect your bed frame as well.

    Good luck

I’m a renter, so I’m hoping my landlord will facilitate, or at very minimum, offer to help. She’s gone radio silent ever since I let her know of the situation wtf.

I went to an Orkin office today and it’s either newborn bed bugs (in which case, it’s about to get super gnarly as they mature), or something called bird mites. He leaned bird mites, because of the tiny size atm & that there’s been a nest not far outside my unit recently. I wasn’t able to investigate bird mites following that yet, so tbd on which one would be worse.

    The update nobody asked for:
    Bird Mites.

There was a bird nest above our bedroom/bathroom window, in the vent that leads to the attic.
The birds flew the coupe recently.
The mites found us as their new blood source.
    Currently living in a hotel.
Exterminator is coming over the weekend/Monday.
    Party time.
