Oct 15, 2016 It's Marshall's most blassic iconic ever (both movie & soundtrack) wrote his name with gold and saved his legacy at the same time, it is the the project that f----- him up drugs wise and lead to Encore, hiatus and the whole confusion of Eminem's career. Eminem was already the biggest thing ever, but 8 mile made him this untouchable level that no matter any rapper tries so hard, public will still see him under Em. If we go back to 2002, would you let Em film it? for me, no .... for 1 reason... the butterfly effect gonna make Em hang out with proof more and prevent his death. and I love every post hiatus album of Em, just think if he didn't go hiatus he would be more natural to this day. thoughts?
Oct 15, 2016 I don't think is 8 mile's fault (entirely). Yeah 8 mile f----- him up but Proof death was what literally knocked him down. I prefer the latter to not be happened tbh
Oct 15, 2016 That's kinda my point, 8 mile lead to daily hard drug use, which made Em druggie who jerks off, and eat Taco Bells. He even said it that he feels bad because if he was hanging out with proof more that wouldn't happened
Oct 15, 2016 Butterfly effect? What if by not making 8 Mile, he somehow kills Proof and himself, in a car accident or something? Can't look at things like that.
Oct 16, 2016 During Devils night and 8mile he was in his prime. He should of been working on a solo album. Not a f---ing movie.
Oct 16, 2016 imagine songs like lose yourself/8mile/rabbit run along side another 13 solo Eminem songs it would be def. his greatest album of all time, i agree @HowHigh
Oct 16, 2016 8mile his 4rd solo album(5months after TES) with songs like Lose Yourself,8mile,Rap game,Stimulate,Love me,rabbit run and songs with Nas,Jay Z,Xzibit,Rakim. For sure it would be a classic album! And sales would of been crazy. The soundtrack sold 3.4 milion copies in the U.S in 2002 and it was only out for 2 months. If this was an album it would have sold like TES. 2 classic albums and iconic movie in 1 year
