Jul 6, 2015 What did he find in Skylar Grey? She's nothing special at all. Her voice and songs are so generic. Slaughterhouse is horrible except for Royce. Bad Meets Evil is the only one project I would be excited for besides his solo album. D12 is something unlistenable to me as well. Why, why can't you find normal talented people? I forgot to mention Yelawolf. That's not even a rapper. I miss days when there was Dre, 50 and Obie around Em. He's losing his potential when surrounding himself with all of them. They would be nothing without him. Stay in their shacks and make bird sounds.
Jul 6, 2015 Skylar Grey- Very talented for a female vocalist imo. Very underrated actually. Never had a successful solo career but can sing hooks. Slaughterhouse- The idea of this "super group" sounds good. But I really don't think they have very good chemistry at all and just don't make good music together. They're great for cyphers but that's about it. Yelawolf- Love Story was an improvement, but I still don't understand why Em ever signed him or what he ever saw in him. D12- These were Eminem's boys before he made it so of course he's gonna keep them around. They never had successful solo careers but unlike Slaughterhouse they have great chemistry and make great music together when Em is involved. Bad Meets Evil- The BME EP gets alot of unfair hate. I thought it was great for what it was, so was Vegas. Em and Royce still have amazing chemistry. Hoping we get a full length album from them someday.
Jul 6, 2015 Skylar grey is great Slaughterhouse is horrid Yelawolf can be okay Most of D12 aren't that talented, but they blend well with Em BME has gotten bland for the most part
Jul 6, 2015 Stop insulting Yelawolf, he's a great artist LMAO three month ago everyone on this forum were calling him goat and i even remember a post saying that the only way for eminem to make good songs nowaday is to do feats with yela, and it had a minimum of 5 likes. Never seen hype being killed that quick
Jul 6, 2015 I do too, maybe he'll come back one day Right now I like the idea of changing my username based on where I am in a point of life.. Kinda hard to explain
Jul 6, 2015 With Obie we got Richard, with 50 we got My Life, D12 put out bane, you really want more of that s---?!
Jul 6, 2015 Radioactive was horrible. Love Story was much much better BUT it wasn't a hip-hop album by any means. It was basically a country album with some rap influence here and there. By the way his solo track on Shady XV was abysmal.
Jul 6, 2015 I think the fans don't give him much choice to be honest, they wanted a 50 feature they got it, they wanted a bme reunion they got, and they wanted a tech n9ne feature they got it, now they want songs produce by dr dre and more past features like xzybit busta rhymes and others. The point is that people just don't know what they really want from him so they hate on him for being mainstream while most of his music are what they were asking for.A great example is mmlp2, how is people want old em while they got songs that are cleary what they are wishing.
Jul 6, 2015 Yelawolf is so underrated. I thought Love Story would earn him way more respect than he has now. It's a top 5 AOTY imo
Jul 6, 2015 By the way, I really enjoyed Best Friend and Heartbreak. The production was great and Heartbreak is a classic song. The only one I love and can listen to in Yela's solo collection.
Jul 7, 2015 Agree with everything except Yelawolf. Radioactive was bad I'll give that to you, and yes Love Story was a major improvement but it's like Kendricks TPAB - It's very left field and not everybody is gonna f--- with it, but for what it is its fantastic imo. As for what Em/Paul saw in him.. diversity.
Jul 7, 2015 Love Story's production was fantastic. The Johnny Cash beat is amazing. Best Friend is Em's best feature since Airplanes 2.
