Nov 18, 2016 So we all know Eminem changed for the worst in terms of making music, but can still make a classic here and there, but t what was it that really f----- up his ability to make good music..... Was it proof dying?? Was it his overdose?? Was it just getting older?? it's no old news that he's always changed his style each album, but it's past the time for him to rap like he used to, with flow etc.... But as people claim encore was when it went downhill for em, but proof was still alive then, so I wouldn't say it was when he died he became worst, to me I think em just got older and by that time had rapped everything about himself, and really ems never done much else besides that, so we get mmlp2 a kick back to the good old days but at this time I'm sure most people were thinking after relapse and recovery this is his last chance to really bring the old school s---, but failed in terms of bringing that sound back only the name has any similaritie to be honest,,, so what's you're thoughts guys, and do you think he can deliver on his new album.?
Nov 19, 2016 Eminem never rapped like any other rapper, he always was witty and funny..both attributes usually found in young people, which was fine for him when he was 26...now he is above 40 and still trying to be witty and funny...it wont work and since he lives in a bubble he cant make dramatic songs or deep ones because he has low experience in life, he been a mega star since his 20s and now you want a deep song from him? will then he will re-do the exact same deep song he made 25 times in a different way because thats the only deep message he has
Nov 19, 2016 Yes of course, I don't want a deep song from him I know hes only capable of fun songs nowadays tbh but like you said it won't work, which makes me think, he's making a new album maby his last... So what's he going to do recycle old s--- or try and be funny, I definitely think it will be his last tho Bro
Nov 19, 2016 A combination of factors: age, fame, world-weariness, heartbreak, & substance-induced brain damage
Nov 19, 2016 His camp also doesn't seem to help, whoever is telling him whats good is clearly having bad effects on him. He has no content, he doesn't have a life, he has little life experience since he returned and it shows.
Nov 19, 2016 Settle down m8, he's a multi millionaire and of the biggest and considered one of the best artists ever by the majority. He's been all around the world and met an insane amount of people. We're on a rap forum online talking about him.
Nov 19, 2016 Fine Line, Vegas, Bad Guy, Berzerk, Rhyme or Reason, Evil Twin...Baby and Groundhog Day have some great moments as well. Haven’t listened to any of them in like a year though.
Nov 19, 2016 Relapse was him revisiting that. Some people didn't like that. Recovery was him doing the opposite and exploded in sales. mmlp2 was a rant about karma which I guess does count for depth, but the production was so anti to modern hip hop that a lot of people disliked it. Combined with him getting weary with age. His problem is less with writing and more with sound. The era has run away from him.
Nov 19, 2016 substance-induced brain damage "I had to learn to write and rap again, and I had to do it sober and 100 percent clean," Em said, explaining the more mature, focused nature of his rhymes on Recovery. "That didn't feel good at first ... I mean it in the literal sense. I actually had to learn how to say my lyrics again, how to phrase them, make them flow, how to use force so they sounded like I meant them. Rapping wasn't like riding a bike. It was [as much] physical as mental. I was relearning basic motor skills. I couldn't control my hand shakes. I'd get in the [recording] booth and tried to rap, and none of it was clever, none was witty and I wasn't saying it right."
Nov 19, 2016 Eminem just ran out of subjects to talk about...as Koolo said he lives in a bubble..nothing new happens..he just goes to the studio...back home..watch p---.... watch series...and make fantasy songs, bash celebrities and talk about his old obssesion with kim and mariah...so there's nothing new for him to talk about, that's why i think the next album will be some political s---...or just some random a--- songs about killing...recovering...and s---..
Nov 19, 2016 People saying he is a hermit are wrong. He is to an extent but people on the internet are misguided as usual just like blaming Paul for everything. Y'all clearly missed the interview for complex during MMLP2 when he clearly stated he won't be rapping about his personal life and family as much anymore. He said he regretted being so open earlier in his career. He is more private now a days. That is what hinders his content. If he was still on drugs then he would still be putting out songs that are about his daughters and other things he experiences that we will never hear about. Being personal and extremely open is what drove his career.
