I'm guessing a lot of you will think this is stupid or whatever, but with so few horror movies in theaters now, I was excited about this and saw it last night. I thought it was pretty good and I like the idea of having the whole movie be via the internet basically, although I hope it doesn't become a popular trend. If you decide to see this, know what you're getting yourself into or else you may hate it. There's definitely some boring/s--- scenes but I expected that and kinda laughed at them, some unintentionally funny parts too lol. But I enjoyed it for what it was. It also moves pretty fast after the first 15 mins and had some good acting and tense moments.

It's getting pretty mixed reviews so far although 67% on rotten tomatoes for a horror movie is pretty good.

Yes it came out officially today although I saw it last night, they always have Thursday night screenings here.

@Mike Tyson , were you surprised that everyone died? I kinda thought at least Blaire would survive but I guess with how they revealed her involvement at the end, it made sense.

Yeah I think the part at the end with the reveal of how Blaire was involved and the sign bit was one of the best parts of the movie. I also like how we finally saw the ghost for a sec at the very end. Val's death didn't show much you're right but I liked how they had what just looked like the image of her there before finally seeing it was actually video with the phone moving.

I agree it was well acted, I thought all the characters did well but Blaire's stood out the most. I liked the whole thing from her desktop idea too although I hope it doesn't become a new trend to have stuff like that.

I'd give it like a 8/10 probably, I enjoyed it for what it was.

Saw this today. I liked the computer screen concept, but I don't know if it'll work on another film again. It was fresh to see something different (albeit familiar) when it comes to horror movie and the amateur footage thing. It was a really immersive experience tbh. Movie had some genuinely tense moments. f--- Blaire though, lil b---- a--- b----.

It was like someone took r/nosleep and made a movie out of it. IIRC there's a really similar thread on nosleep about a guy and his dead gf messaging him thru FB.
