Mar 11, 2017 Most games don't really make the side missions seem like it isn't a chore. Other people just do it to get 100% like nerds
Mar 11, 2017 yea, i typically get caught up in them, and generally regret it since i never complete them all and i just end up with a bloated mission list
Mar 11, 2017 The ones I've dived into are just defend the point or collect some stupid thing from across the map
Mar 11, 2017 Yerp I feel like you miss a big part of a game if you don't do them. Most of the time in JRPGs you wanna do the sidequests because they lead to getting the ultimate weapons and armor. Might just be the case in RPGs in general.
Mar 11, 2017 JRPGs are probably the best that execute the side mission structure because they have underlining plots not in the main story and like you said weapons and info
Mar 11, 2017 Yea, I get too wrapped up in them and don't actually make any story progress for days at a time
Mar 11, 2017 I play the side missions if the game is fun enough. I had witcher 3 since it dropped and I've played it so much. I did mostly side quests and contracts Bc they were so fun Ff15 has sick dungeons
Mar 11, 2017 Witcher & Skyrim are probably have the most captivating side missions due to the fact you will never really finish the actually game
Mar 11, 2017 Finished skyrim after years then sold my 360 at the time lol Mass effect andromeda better have good side missions tbh. Persona 5 also!
Mar 11, 2017 I'm not feeling this game so far. The story is solid but the characters dry as s--- and the gameplay gets a little stale eventually. Solid 7 game
Mar 11, 2017 Heard in some reviews the dialogue tree doesn't even affect your choices in game so thats a bummer
Mar 11, 2017 I'm 100% sure mass effect will be loaded with side content. Borderlands 2 and even that South Park game had great objectives to do apart from the story
Mar 11, 2017 It doesn't? f---ing h--- lol. I regret buying this game tho it looks gorgeous.... i rather play tomb raider tbh.
Mar 11, 2017 Bioware tends to s--- with side missions if I recall right. So I hope so. Need another dragon age too tbh
Mar 11, 2017 Spent most of yesterday playing Nier Automata and sunk about two thirds of the time I played into random character quests Totally worth it
Mar 11, 2017 If you didn't play the GTA SA vigilante side missions in CJs cop outfit you just aren't worth talking to
Mar 11, 2017 Most of the time I like playing side missions more than the main quest. But the main games I play which have main & side quests are Bethesda games, and they usually don't have a good main story, so I guess that makes sense.
Mar 11, 2017 As a fan of j rpgs, will I like this? Never played, but saw someone with a copy on the train lol
