All I do is side stuff... so much to the point that I get burnt out on the game and never finish the main quest. I cleared every single icon off the lower left bottom of Witcher 3 map and never touched the game again. Right now in Zelda I've only done 1 main quest dungeon... yet I have full ancient armor, the master sword, a surplus of items... I have a bad habit of doing too much and getting bored

yea, i typically get caught up in them, and generally regret it since i never complete them all and i just end up with a bloated mission list

was typing a post before you posted this but witcher 3s side quests are great. i love games where you can go down a tunnel of a side quest and get lost in them. new vegas and skyrim are good at that. dark brotherhood questline in skyrim is gr8

i love dark mysterious s---, so i also enjoyed the serial killer side quest in GTA 5 where you find the confession letter scraps and confront the killer. stuff like that's great.

Witcher 3s 2nd expansion has an area where, depending on your choices you can go into a story book world and find a bunch of side quests and hidden things like that relating to old fairy tales and stuff. gr8 game and the expansions are arguably even better.

my bad if all of these were already posted tho i replied before reading the thread fully

yea i find it very rare for games to find that middle ground...i feel like 40-60 sidequests is the best possible number...but most games give you infinite number of repeated sidequests

Yea, I get too wrapped up in them and don't actually make any story progress for days at a time
