Nov 20, 2015 1- do we need a mod to actually achieve the rest of the points im gonna make 2- should we use more new threads like "x team vs y team" for more exposure? (iwant this to happen but need a mod dedicated to handle such task) 3- should we somehow add things to this sxn to make it better?

Nov 20, 2015 I think maybe like Super Bowl or a big playoff game/series would work. There isn't really any MLB or NHL discussion so those might benefit. I mean I make a seperate thread for every UFC event more for casual fans who might be fans of certain fighters.

Nov 20, 2015 1 - I think a mod would be great. Maybe a few different ones. (Not sure how open you are to this, just spewing out ideas) Maybe a specific one that posts sports news all of the time. I'm usually on top of sports news 24/7 but don't follow every single sport. 2 - I think x vs. y threads are great when comparing players, especially in basketball. not really sure how many big games there would be each week tho. i know a lot of times, the sunday and monday night football games get a lot of discussion. maybe have separate threads for those? idk, once again just trying to think of s--- 3 - i can't really think of things to do to make this section better rather than get more people to be active in the sports section. I love talking sports with the same guys all the time, but more people is only better. was hoping that when the blog started up, it would have more sports news to go along with hip hop too. not sure if this is still an idea. i think it's a good one, since sports and music are so intertwined.
Nov 20, 2015 You can definitely feature some primetime games. NBA usually has a few games on the big networks (TNT, ESPN) twice a week. Same with NFL, usually that discussion thread is popping on Sundays and Monday nights. I'm not sure it's so much that we need new features in here, just more posters on a consistent basis.
Nov 20, 2015 We could do weekly NBA threads? For AFL next year I could create Round by Round threads for members to discuss (we only have like 3-4 who discuss it but we could get more Aussies to join up maybe)

Nov 21, 2015 @Koolo come March you should have a "sxn80 bracket challenge" with a prize. It's for March madness college basketball but it's a huge event. Everyone does it even people who don't know sports
