Jun 13, 2017 Dude was 1/2 of the Neptunes, a group who's produced classic tracks like, Rock Your Body from JT, drop it like it's hot, Southern Hospitality, Milkshake, oh and f---ing HOLLABACK GIRL Even going into his solo s---, he created Happy, probably the most addictive song of 20wheneverthefuckthatdropped 2010-2013 felt all like the same year to me, Frontin with Jay Z, and Number One with Ye. Dude also brought japanese clothing to a western audience, being decked out in all bape with his deck in his hand. Even created BBC which is still a popular clothing line. dude gets overlooked.
Jun 13, 2017 I think he gets his due credit tbh. He's done f---ing awesome to be as relevant and forward thinking as he has been over his two-decade-plus-spanning career. And hasn't aged a day either.
Jun 13, 2017 What? P definitely gets his dues he's constantly bigged up by his contemporaries and newer dudes I think plenty of ppl on here would put him in their top 5/10 producers all time Chad is really the underrated one considering he was a much better musician when they were in peak neptunes/nerd era
Jun 13, 2017 I think he gets pretty decent props tbh. I definitely wouldn't say he's severely underrated or anything. I think he gets pretty due praise.
Jun 13, 2017 I don't honestly. Only person i've seen truly came out and praise this man is Tyler. Dude has done so much for the culture. A good portion of the most popular songs from 2000s he had something to do with. I just personally never hear him in top tens at all
Jun 13, 2017 All your points are true but idk what to tell you fammo he gets his dues as far as I can tell
Jun 13, 2017 It will forever blow my mind how is he the same guy that contributed to those corkscrew face productions on h--- Hath No Fury to making....Happy That range is unreal and Neptunes in their prime were so d--- good. As an entrepreneur, P easily inspired so many trends especially with fashion.
Jun 13, 2017 Its cause a lot of his dope work is from him as a producer, and producers don't get talked about much in conversations too much.... at least in the mainstream context
