This album gets tons of dumb hate. Here are some reasons why this album is just f---ing amazing -
1. every song is good on this, only literally 2 weak tracks (LTWYL & WTP)
2. this album put eminem back on top
3. tons of personal songs
4. still has that crazy shady on it (cwb, here we go, so bad, seduction)
5. amazing story-telling (seduction)
6. cohesive/good flows
7. ppl say he screams a lot, he does yell but just as much as mmlp? and its not on every song
8. going through changes
9. ppl say the label forced eminem on this. eminem wanted to explore, as he said, he felt like he was doing the same old thing on relapse and just saying s--- to say it. so what did eminem do? he went out and made one of his most personal albums. he was personal, and grew as an artist, and did what this new eminem WANTED to do instead of imitating his old self.

this album in my opinion is a classic. BUT i love eminem. dont say "oh ur a recoverystan" no, ive liked eminem since 2004. and this is not my favorite album, but i still love it. and i dont only listen to eminem. i listen to tons of people and have a large amount of artists i listen to.

anyways, this is recovery appreciation thread, discuss fav things here and please... appreciation thread means POSITIVITY!! no recovery haters here please.

On Fire sucks too but yeah you're right the Recovery era is light years better than anything he's done since he returned from hiatus(sans Deja Vu and GOF).

he's not criticizing em, by citing specifics, he's constantly criticizing other users
he's constantly starting s--- by making loaded comments in random conversations he doesn't add s--- to
he never makes a coherent point, or posts quotes or lyrics to back s--- up
at least jaba and i express our own opinions
i've stated and will continue to state when i don't like what em puts out
but there's people who only come in here to post negative s--- and derail threads
op asked for discussion on recovery
not only did immortal not oblige, he posted a childish insult

won't back down was in mission impossible and sounds great in a car but you're not old enough to drive

t2m is amazing he touches on very personal issues wtf
flow is great kobe did good
concept is amazing, talking to the whole world yet only himself

so bad is classic dre production and em has a great flow and attitude plus he does the hook

^ agree with everything but tbh Wont Back Down sounds great in a car AND just loud in general. I really f---ing enjoy Recovery.

Tracks 6-10 on Recovery (Going Through Changes, Not Afraid, Seduction, No Love, Space Bound) is the best five track stretch on any album of his career. Five straight flawless tracks. Recovery is probably my personal favorite album of his. All of his features from 2010 were top notch too. He was truly on top of his game that year.

^There's a skit in there too though that breaks it up. I'm talking five straight actual songs. By the way my favorite stretch on TES is 12-16. Sing For The Moment, Superman, Hailie's Song, When The Music Stops. 4 of my Top 5 favorite songs on the album (Til I Collapse would be the fifth).
