Oct 8, 2015 Recovery era was Ems second prime. I honestly think there is a slim(no pun intended) chance he relapsed. In comparison to Recovery everything in the past year and a half to two years sounds so forced. Even BME had great verses. Like from Recovery to nowadays is like comparing TES days to Encore. Excluding KND and Medicine man

Oct 8, 2015 Not to mention Fine Line & GOF. I liked those songs but I don't think he can top Recovery era. It's asking a lot of a 40+ year old rapper with as much material as Em to be good/great again.
Oct 8, 2015 What is he doing though? And what songs are you talking about that s--- over the Recovery area? In 2010 alone we got Recovery (best post hiatus album), INAD, Airplanes, Cocaine, Despicable, Where I'm At, That's All She Wrote, Talk To Me, and some solid verses on HTS.

Oct 8, 2015 He's done this before. Once was after Relapse and we got Recovery, next time was after people complained about his screaming and we got MMLP2, 1-1 by my count. Idk how you can say with confidence he can all of the sudden turn it around at 42. Would be great for Em to be great or even good again, but that time has clearly passed. Recovery was as good as it will get post hiatus.
Oct 8, 2015 easy to answer he's bored as f--- and wants something different to do. but, he's implied in one of his interviews that he's aware of fans' reactions to these flows and I'm sure his next album will be rid of that flow. and I've always loved this performance. It's crazy how Em can recreate his past voices like that. I used to post this on SL when I'd talk about how I'd want him to sound. I'm confident though. Em finna drop a classic in 2016
