Mar 13, 2017 thug gnna be bigger in the long run steadily building a huge devoted following > assorted hits
Mar 13, 2017 Maybe, it depends on what he picks for his next projects, he has charisma, it should help
Mar 13, 2017 2014 was big but that was only because of rich g--- and lifestyle. Then lifestyle started to get old and I clearly remember how in spring 2015 he was the most hated rapper at that time. The game beef, lil wayne beEf, the controversial cover plus dissing his pal rich homie and then cutting ties with birdman. However in like mid summer 2015 the hate fell off and he was the new new hot thing in rap. It's like he completely forgot about his rich g--- business and started a new career. 2016 was a big year for thuggery you gotta admit. He released 2 of the best mixtapes of that year and also got many hits. He just needs now a smash hit like bad and boujee or smthng.
Mar 13, 2017 you have half the story right. after everyone started hating him. Lil Uzi Vert took his spot and the rest was history
Mar 13, 2017 But this year we willl most likely get Thug x drake Thug x calvin harris Thug x wayne Thug x weekend I can see these collabs make him more popular
Mar 13, 2017 he's big, he's famous etc. but is he ever going to be so mainstream popular that he'd be a "superstar"? probably not. few artists reach that level, fewer rappers do, and it'd be hard for someone like thug to. he's too niche
Mar 13, 2017 Better if he stays like this. His lyrics are usually too explicit also for being big radio hits
Mar 13, 2017 Yikes!!!! I never even heard of this cross dresser until I signed up here. He's irrelevant in the mainstream media.
Mar 13, 2017 Good Times never blew up which means Thug will never blow up But he will always be the GOAT
Mar 13, 2017 I don't think Young thug has hit it big, I mean yh young thug does get attention from the mainstream but that's coz of his stunts rather than his music. He still doesn't have a big hit like designer panda or even Chief keef I Dnt like . I kinda thought he would be bigger than he is now. But he may still remain relevant as long as his fans keep checking for him.
