Why do people eat cereal with sugar?

    My parents couldn't always afford the good kinds of cereal, so I had to add my own sugar tor my plain frosted flakes or cheerios.

    I've only ever added sugar to the plain kinds of cereal that didn't have any already, don't see anything wrong with that

    only ones i ever use to add sugar too is normal a--- corn flakes with no flavor lol. outside that i have no sort of sweet tooth at all.

    Grab my bowl of healthy cereal, add in some fruits, possibly 2 or 3, pour in a lil bit of this 0% fat milk. Sit down at the table feeling proud at the well needed change of diet and thinking oh yes I'm really gonna do this.

    *sprinkles 3 spoonfuls of sugar over the top*

    Nah but really, cereal is a--- and sugar is not a---, so some sugar provides a less assy experience before leaving the house to start your absolute a--- day.

    Why would you add sugar to your cereal when it is already sweet. I don't get it at all.
