Jun 8, 2016 60%of us think that Noah's ark LITERALLY HAPPENED, Hillary and Trump are our two frontrunners, one of our two major political partys denies climate change, and I can go on. We are so behind intellectually and in our government with Europe. We throw facts at people in school instead of teaching them how to think and form there own opinions. How does the United States become, well, not stupid? (In your opinion)
Jun 8, 2016 I mean to be fair, those same people that believe Noah's Ark happened are the same people that believe in an all powerful being in the sky that created the universe.
Jun 8, 2016 Without a doubt there are millions of intelligent Americans, but in comparsion to the rest of the developed world (excluding certain places obviously) we are behind. Bill Maher put it well when he said "we have enough people to make America a great European esc nation, we are just surrounded by a bunch of rednecks" I paraphrased what he said but that was the gist.
