    Hey Whats up? I think I posted in here about a mix I made maybe a month ago but now I'm back with new music.

    Coming straight from H-Town, my friend and I took the time to remix The Weeknd's song, "The Hills". adding in qualities that define Houston and how we came up. I hope you all enjoy and please leave a like and share with your friends.

    Sorry if I made it sound like we aren't educated but I was using it to describe that thats what we're accustomed to. I just dabble in music on the side as a hobby and solely don't rely on it as a means of money at all. Also if you were willing to take a listen at it, criticism is welcomed. (BTW I do plan to goto college when I finish high school :))

    Added in an element of "Chopped and Screwed". Plus being a dark song already, we decided to make the tone just below that.

    Idk the original song, but this seemed interesting from a quick skip through the song. I'll have to give it a full listen when I get home :emoji_thumbsup:

    I think it was very unnecessary to add this effect. It didn't work imo. Modifications in production are kinda cool.

    Ill check it later cus the song is goat. Fyi tho.i think all the chopped n screwed tapes that come out are complete garbage and terribly executed ie. Slopped up not chopped up

    It's not bad. But not a fan of the deep/slowed down vocals.

    After a real listen, I think it's decent. After a second listen, I'm vibing.

    On the drums:
    I think they could maybe use a little more mixing and maybe lower volume here and there (or possibly they need spread more with something like FL's stereo enhancer), but mostly, I think they're fine.

    As for the slowed down/deep vocals:

    doesn't bother me at all, and I think it works here, especially since I don't know the original.

    I really like the downtempo style this's got tho, a lot of my own work is very slowed down like this
