Guys what we're seeing recently is the second part of a supernatural decennial cycle. Keep in mind, there are inconsistencies from decade to decade, but they are generally very similar.

1996: Album 1 of a half cycle
---CYCLE 0.5 END---
1999: Album 1 of 1st cycle with a distinctly different sound from his older material.
2000: Album 2 of 1st cycle
2002: Album 3 of 1st cycle
2004: Album 4 of 1st cycle
2005: Greatest hits/new music album of 1st cycle
2005- Early 2006: Eminem goes into hiding, but still has some features, live shows and TV appearances
Late 2006: Label compilation album of 1st cycle
Late 2006-2007 Eminem isolates himself completely, only doing a few collabs here and there. Also drugs himself almost to death.
2008: Recovers and starts work on a new album

2009: Album 1 of 2nd cycle with a distinctly different sound from his older material.
2010: Album 2 of 2nd cycle
2013: Album 3 of 2nd cycle
2014: Greatest hits/new music album of 2nd cycle
2014- Early 2016: Eminem goes into hiding, but still has some features, live shows and TV appearances
(Future projections)
Late 2016: Label compilation Album of 2nd cycle
Late 2016-2017 Eminem isolates himself completely, only doing a few collabs here and there. Probably will abuse drugs again, but mind the cycle's inconsistencies
2018: (Recovers) Starts work on a new album

The cycle continues....

Now based on this painstakingly researched timeline, we can predict that most likely in November/December of this year (when The Re-Up was released), we will get an album with songs from Shady artists.
This explains Em's new Re-Up-esque voice on Rap On Steroids. Its' been 10 years since he used it last. Also we can assume we won't get a new album before 2019, so get ready to wait some more.
One other thing, is that everyone's favorite, Cashis might be making a return this year, based on the cycle.
