Mar 23, 2017 srs. any other artist would be getting shat on for this. Remember when clipse broke up and Malice was corny and lame cause he made christian rap? remember that really famous christian rapper? i don't either lol. quite frankly religious rap is polarizing and lame. Do you think for example a muslim man will bump some preachy christian s---? Kendricks career about to end with this decision.
Mar 23, 2017 Because part of his art deals with social concerns. Statistics show people who appear religious signify morals and good nature. Especially for nonwhites. He also doesn't make music specifically for a Christian audience.
Mar 23, 2017 thats r-----ed. i don't like when you post here pretending you have brain damage. f--- off, your "oMG mE CRaZy!!! XD HOw TO pOsosT!!?!?!" schtick is fucken gay. speak english.
Mar 23, 2017 worse than this he gets pop female collabs pass (drake too) .. but when Em does it he's sell out
Mar 23, 2017 I'm willing to give it a chance. Part of me feels like he's being esoteric with the "God" s---, but we'll see.
Mar 23, 2017 His music has never been overly religious but has always contained some religious remarks/themes. Even going back to Section 80. I wouldn't classify his music as "Christian rap."
Mar 23, 2017 because hes the greatest musician of all time and he wrote the majority of the hymns we've been singing for hundreds of years - much like how he invented jazz
Mar 23, 2017 "Christian rapper" is a label I associate with the ones who use it as a gimmick/crutch. Good rappers can talk about religion without relying upon it.
