Jan 27, 2017 i noticed a lot of ppl refer to MMLP2 and post flows as horrible. imho, He has versatile and almost as creative as Relapse flows, even the choppy ones are not that bad. what went trash is his delivery. the most prime example is Rap God... he spits hot fire, but his voice and delivery are almost s---. He went from the confident Recovery Cadence to being non-understandable 70 years old alcoholic voice. ur thots?
Jan 27, 2017 Another example is Brainless, his flow is perfect MMLP s---. but his voice ruins it a bit for me
Jan 27, 2017 to me, his delivery is how he sounds and flow is how the words sound over the beat. idk if that's how people see it universally so I might be wrong. maybe I got it backwards idk lol I was pretty okay with his delivery on MMLP2 but some songs had a FLOW that I was not a big fan of. Then if we look at Recovery, his DELIVERY was kinda bad (yelling almost to the point of audio clipping but that could also fall upon bad mixing) while his flow was fine. exact opposite for me. I'm fine with his voice but the flow irks me a bit.
Jan 27, 2017 correct tbh, this is what most ppl say... but for me, his MMLP2 pronunciation wasn't vivid... and my definition of vivid, something like Guts Over Fear, where every word was clear and understandable. :P opinions
Jan 27, 2017 IMO the delivery on MMLP2 is better than on Recovery. THe Problem ist his Flow. And it's kinda interesting that the songs with his "best" Flows(Baby, Wicked Ways, Groundhog Day) on the album are all on the Bonus Disc. Especially "Baby" s--- is fire
Jan 27, 2017 I've said this before so I'll keep it short and simple here. I agree, I love Baby, he DESTROYS that beat. But f--- me, I can't stand that chorus!
Jan 28, 2017 It's honestly both I had a problem with his voice more than delivery And didn't like the flows because of the writing Eminem never crammed so many rhymes before or at least never sounded like he was forcing his rhymes until this album
