    That man stood guard over some the filthiest late teen runaways while they were catching a double penny from coked up guidos... and punched fat cops in his backyard while his nephew filmed it in landscape mode, because he was a pro.


    The word "hero" gets thrown around too much these days... but it is fitting here.

    Regardless of how you felt about Kimbo, he absolutely did play an important role in helping MMA work it's way in to the mainstream. He also seemed like a really nice guy. If this is indeed true, my thoughts go out to his family. RIP

    As a middle schooler I found Kimbo Slice on the internet with my friend, and we were obsessed with his videos. One of the reasons I gave UFC a try was because of Kimbo Slice on TUF.

    Honestly more bummed about Kimbo dying then I am about pretty much anyone else who's died in 2016.

    My older brother was obsessed with his videos back in the day. This was before worldstar so finding quality hood scraps took time and dedication, however with Kimbo you knew that it was gonna be raw af

    i remember hearing about him and his backyard fights in 2006 early youtube and psfights.com. aslo remebering the one time he lost to a cop. he really made a name for himself as more than just a street thug, he got to fight in the octagon and proved himself there, so much respect sad to hear rip kimbo
