    Is this getting out of hand?

    I mean I remember the days stans were delusional Eminem fans that you could easily ignore and keep in their own section. They posted how many sales eminem has and how he changed the rap game.

    But these days, d---. Kanye stans saying the TLOP rollout was interesting, giving average songs high ratings.. Kendrick stans keep posting the metacritic score of TLOP, Thug fans getting mad if you say something bad about him.. Drake fans not posting for days when the album is being trashed (I like you tho immy)

    What is going on here and is it a good or a bad thing?

    You wrote "TLOP" instead of "TPAB".
    But yeah. They're getting out of control. I miss the days where I could browse the Kendrick SXN without someone unironically posting Metacritic scores, and acting like they're experts on Jazz music.

    It's not just hip-hop, or or even music in general though. Look at the PlayStation vs Xbox war as an example.

    What's clear is that it is a younger generation thing. We can't do anything about it, it's natural progression.

    I say we all get over it and embrace the change. I don't want to be one of those "back in my day" guys.

    Lmao. I also think TLOP is overrated but I did mean TPAB indeed.

    Nah not just narsh (he's very overexcited mostly), I've seen slime (?) and jg2 do it too

    I have never seen Kendrick stanning on the level of posting the history of jazz or posting it's Metacritic (which is a pointless system to base an albums relevance/quality on) but I have seen TPAB = trash memes on G... You're right about the Eminem stans, I have seen some obsessive stanning from many of them and well, if I were me I wouldn't want to be an Eminem stan.

    I wouldn't say what a bunch of 20-somethings do on a rap forum is representative of this generation as a whole. Btw console wars and d-ck riders have existed well before this generation.

    But the pathetic arguments are not heard in fully grown adults. Mostly kids and young adults. Obviously there are always exceptions.

    You don't hear a bunch of 60 year olds getting into a slagging match because one group thinks The Beatles is the best band ever whereas the other thinks it's The Who. Or one thinks that Black and Decker is the best DIY brand whereas the other thinks it's Bosch.
