Which do you prefer long term?

Sometimes i feel like i miss a lot when i binge watch. Something different without that anticipation every week. Its just to tempting once you get started. Some shows are crack cocaine.

Weekly viewing is more rewarding. Binge watching is a numbing experience.

    Binge watch.
I dont really follow any shows that are on TV so I usually have to look for something, normally anime, online. If the whole season isn't there I will watch one ep then forget about the show completely. I like to be able to DL a whole season, throw it on, then do some cooking, cleaning, arts & crafts, gaming whatever else while the show is on in the background.

I love binge watching so that I'm up to date on a series.

But I also love the anticipation on a specific day for the new episode to come out.

Weekly basis makes the cliff hanger (if there is one) 10x more enjoyable

Weekly for sure. It gives me time to digest each episode and think about it before the next one comes on. Even when I'm watching shows that are on Netflix or whatever I never watch more than a few eps a week, and no more than two in a single day unless I'm sick or something.

I appreciate episodes more when I watch them weekly. Binge watching is great too but after I finish an episode during a binge watch, I don't revisit it. I will usually revisit an episode during the course of the next week during weekly viewings. Having the chance to watch an entire new season during the weekend is cool up until you finish. Then you're just fiending for more episodes. Finishing a season over the course of a couple of months is more satisfying. I do hate waiting an entire week for a filler episode though. And when there's a holiday, and they skip an episode, that's lame too.

If it's an older show, then binge watch but if its new and current, weekly.

I binged watched The Walking Dead and recently Parks and Rec. It is nice to get through 7 seasons in about two weeks, but I feel like everything just kind of flashed by and I didn't have time to absorb it in.

I think watching weekly gives you time to feel it, let it sink in and absorb.

Both have their pros and cons though.

    Depends on the show tbh

I find great shows are better to watch week to week for the reaons that have already been mentioned.

If a show is just good/average I find its better to bringe watch it because its flaws are hidden to a degree when you a bunch of episodes in a row.
