Jun 29, 2015 This needs to happen and Soul needs exposure. I'm not really sure what happened between the longterm mixtapes to control system (a pretty decent debut). If I had to take a wild guess, it'd be the loss of his girlfriend whom he dated for 9 years, Alori Joh. It happened a few months before the release of Control System and since then, he's seemed to have fallen off. I'll probably have some post CS material in here but I'd rather share what he was doing before. probably a really unpopular opinion but he was on track to be the best rapper in TDE if he'd kept going at that same rate. is it too late? probably. but it's still nice to reminisce on the past.
