    While I have never been to the point of ending it all, usually when I am going through a tough time I just think of what I have to look forward to.

    I have a countdown app in my phone and have things that are YEARS away in there, it's just nice to know that I have stuff to look forward to for the next few years

    The first real answer lmao. The countdown app thing is a good idea. I also try to find things to look forward to. I also find that making lists of things I’m grateful for in life helps as well

    Yeah that’s one thing everyone has to realize at some point. It’s just important to build good coping mechanisms.

    Yeah, feeling regret is useless, one can only fix what they're doing right now and being stuck in the past thinking about old bad s--- and letting it keep you from the new good s--- is the worst thing one can do.
    If you're fortunate enough to be healthy (or healthy enough) then there's always a chance to make it better, very few things you can't come back from, it just takes a lot of effort and willingness to change it and that's what makes it rewarding

    Fax. The amount I’ve improved my own life in the past year is crazy and I wouldn’t have been able to do that had I sat around doing nothing. Sometimes people think “oh, THIS thing has to happen… THEN I’ll be happy” then that thing happens and they don’t end up happy. Some people get in a cycle of chasing happiness that way only to never feel fulfilled.
