Apr 20, 2015 I've been watching a lot of 30 for 30 documentaries on Netflix lately and I was just curious to see which one's you guys like or would recommend. Here's some of my favorites: Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks Reggie was a bit before my time, but this made me wish I was watching him play. The Spike Lee story surrounding Miller's rivalry with him and NYK is great. No Crossover: The Trial of Allen Iverson I have always liked Iverson and this covers his issues in high school. Not a lot of actual basketball in this one, but still good. Straight Outta L.A. I'm a big Raiders fan so I would obviously love this one. It's directed by Ice Cube and talks a lot of NWA. Perfect for someone like me who loves sports and music. The Fab Five Not a huge fan of Michigan or Webber/Rose, but I've always liked Juwan Howard and this documentary made me a fan of all of them. Bad Boys This might be my favorite of them all. Also a bit before my time, but the Detroit Bad Boys are fun to watch even if it's just highlights. Isaiah Thomas can go f--- himself tho.
Apr 20, 2015 I've been meaning to watch the Bias one for awhile now. I'll get around to it sometime this week hopefully. As for the Four Days in October one, f--- the Red Sox I'm never watching it. Just kidding, but that's the only reason I haven't watched it. Boston area sports have always screwed my teams. I guess I hate the Yanks even more tho, so I'll give it a try haha.
Apr 21, 2015 Fab Five I Hate Christian Laettner Jordan Rides the Bus Without Bias Benji You Don't Know Bo No Crossover: The Trial of A.I. Need to watch No Mas, Bad Boys, Sole Man, Free Spirits, When The Garden Was Eden and The Little Master though.
Apr 21, 2015 30 for 30 is greatest production ESPN has done in years. I tune in every time a new one is released I like Two Escobars, Fab 5, OJ Simpson (Jun. 14, 94), The U, One Night in Vegas, Bad Boys
Apr 21, 2015 I like the Reggie Miller one for sentimental purposes. My dad is a big Reggie Miller fan and he's the one who got me into basketball, I started watching near the end of his career though. I think he got injured in a motorcycle accident and he was out for most of the season, I remember his last game against the Pistons in the playoffs.
Apr 21, 2015 The U The U part 2. You Don't Know Bo Bad Boys Rand University Honestly I don't think I've ever seen a 30 for 30 I didn't like. It seems to be one of the few things ESPN does right besides PTI
Apr 21, 2015 Muhammad and Larry - watched it three times edit: bad boys was good too Just watched I Hate Christian Laettner. it was eh
Apr 23, 2015 ESPN planning on doing a 30 for 30 on Sacramento Kings http://www.nba.com/kings/blog/teaser-released-kings-30-30-doc Also, they leaked out that they are doing another OJ Simpson documentary, mainly before and after the trial http://talkintv.buffalonews.com/2015/04/21/espns-30-for-30-planning-long-film-on-o-j-simpson/
Apr 23, 2015 this is my favourite one shout out to @Bliss and @Dreamer and then the bad boys pistons one is dope too edit: no one else mentioned once brothers, y'all sleeping on it. the full video is available on that embed above.
Apr 23, 2015 The U and The U part 2 are my favorites from the series, but every one i have seen has been enjoyable to watch. The Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson ones are great as well
Apr 23, 2015 nah, it had some good moments, but it muddles its way through some of its most interesting points and tonally feels slapdash (or something) when it compares Laettner to, like, kanye.
Apr 23, 2015 I remember you reacting the same way when i said The Departed was better then The Town. Chill out, i get that you are a movie connoisseur or w/e but ppl have different opinions.
Apr 23, 2015 They don't even know how great Petrovic was. He could've been the leading scorer in the NBA in 1993/1994 season if he stayed with Nets and went home by a plane, I would bet everything on it. The GOAT knows it all.
