    Just wondering, what do you guys prefer, lyricism or musicality,
    Personally i have to say musicality, tis why I love kanye so much, but deep lyrics can be crazy good too, why I love lupe's old stuff so much,
    But what do you prefer??...

    performers will say sonics
    almost entirely down party lines

    Definitely musicality.
    Lyrics are great too but if I don't like the actual sound of the song I don't get around to paying much attention to the lyrics.

    Kanye actually has a lot of profound lyrics, so even though they don't belong on the upper echelon 'technically', they still have depth. Guys like Rick Ross & 2Chainz have high production values.. but rarely say anything.

    em says he always tries to make as much rhyme as he can and that that's just as if not more important than storytelling or the instrumental

    people shouldn't listen to him without expecting this, even if they don't normally prefer it
