    I'll be in Detroit end of Jan - mid Feb. I'm watching the Pistons on their home stretch but just curious what cool s--- there is to do in the D on nights they aren't playing/during the day.

    For real tho like is there cool night life spots and s--- or s--- to check out during the day. Your accommodation suggestion was dope btw i didn't book that exact place but one nearby that was a bit cheaper but same sorta setup

    Ann Arbor is a college town (small city) nearby. I'd have to look up the names of the places I've been to but I had a good time. Never spent much time in Detroit though.

    I’ve been downtown Detroit a few times and there’s some nice restaurants and I think a casino nearby too if you’re into that. I think one of the restaurants I went to was called like ‘hockeytown’ or something and had a ton of crazy sports memorabilia all over the walls, etc.

    I heard they put a lot of money into the area recently to try to build it back up, some of thats still in progress I’m sure but the area should be a little nicer than it was a few years ago...hopefully.
