Think about it, the notion of paying for something is preconceived and since everybody pirates anyway and nobody buys CDs I feel like music should be free from this point on.

Think about it, the music production tools are easily avaliable, you can create any kind of music at half the cost and well, it's easy to make than ever before. Back then you used to have equipment and now the only equipment you have is your computer.

I want people to talk about what they would do since Kanye declared the death of CDs and I payed $600 for my CD's that I got produced. Are CD's truly dead, is paying for music truly dead? Discuss people!

And I've been doing my job for free for years; nobody buys my s--- or any of the new s--- on bandcamp. Not even Free Lunch Crew.

Well it's impossible to make this into a living in the modern world so yeah, it's a hobby.

But I so want it to be a living.

People will still buy digitally. Physicals are niche these days.

stupid thread. if the artist wants to charge for it then we have no right to tell them their art should be free.
