Dec 4, 2014 Just wondering if anybody has any tracks they consider 'skippable' when listening to good kid, m.A.A.d city? The only track I personally find myself skipping from time to time is Poetic Justice.
Dec 4, 2014 Real and Compton. These two songs are furthermore the reason why I prefer listening to Section 80 which literally has no skippable tracks at all.
Dec 4, 2014 I considered Real and Compton quite worse than the rest of the album. I don't really mind them now, but I sometimes end the album earlier. Real isn't that bad, some parts get on my nerves though, and Compton is just there because of Dre I think.
Dec 4, 2014 Yep, pretty much what the two users above me said. Compton is the worst track on the album, second would have to be Real, although it's still listenable if you skip over the annoying "I'm real, I'm real, I'm really really real" part
Dec 4, 2014 none and compton & real are actually my 2 favorite tracks on the album Comtpon is the perfect outro as its the credits rolling and real is very soulful and soul is my favorite genre of music
Dec 4, 2014 Compton is one of my favorite kendrick songs ever. And it proves that kendrick is one of the most complete mcees right now Kendrick has already proven in the past that he can go bar for bar with the best of them but he would be canibus status if he was doing that shyt all the time. Theres gotta be a balance and he does a great job of keeping that balance hes a great lyricist but doesnt get too technical He can be very lyrical, he can rely on his flow, he can make club songs, storytelling songs, ignorant songs, west coast bangers, etc Kendrick just had to find the perfect balance because he has fans who expect him to excell in every aspect of music while lupe fans only except him to deliver lyrically. On this album there isn't any skippable song, kendrick made songs for everybody. A song like Compton would be a top song on a Game's album
Dec 4, 2014 what you're saying is crazy, I was actually talking to a fan of Game, dude f---s with west coast music and Compton is also one of his favorite tracks
Dec 4, 2014 Only Real, simply because of the hook. Verses are on point but the hook annoys the h--- out of me. I can listen through minus that one
Dec 4, 2014 none Real & Sherane are my 2 favorite and my least favorite track is a bonus song AKA Now Or Never
Dec 4, 2014 Poetic Justice. Over all I didn't really think of gkmc as kendricks best work it was good but I see gkmc as a look into the life of Kendrick Lamar as a human where section 80 was looking at the life of a generation
