    Discuss the utter classic that was Shady xv...beats and lyrics were amazing and by the time i wrote this it already lost the replay value for me

    Album was good for what it was, but yeah it completely lacks the replay value of Eminem's solo efforts. Was really happy with the Original Lose Yourself track though, was surprised at how different that was to the Soundtrack version.

    I've only focused on the Em tracks so far but I have to say it's growing on me. So looking at: Guts over Fear, Die Alone, Fine Line, ShadyXV you have 4 very solid tracks there. Vegas is a great BME effort but Right For Me just doesn't do anything for me. Down sounds so much like Beastie Boys I can't get over it and well Bane... such a bland track.

    Overall - I'm pleasantly surprised with style of songs we got from Em. Die Alone and Fine Line are REALLY sticking with me.

    I just keep listening to Fine Line, that's what I want to hear from Eminem. Also like Vegas and Psychopath Killer. It's a solid project, but I think most of the other songs will lose their replay value after a little while, for me at least.

    His most forgettable release. I can't believe these dudes get into a room together and think this is great music.

    Production was above average, so there's that.

    It's okay. Feels like a bunch of rambling especially in that 2nd verse. Nice to have a new introspective track. Flow is still annoying. Singing is awful. It's Eminem's attempt at another 'No Apologies', but doesn't even come close.

    Agree about the Lose Yourself Demo. Never thought Eminem would release something like that. f---ing awesome, even if it is below average for 2002 Eminem.

    Vegas gives me a headache. That style (which unfortunately is most of the album) just doesn't do it for me. I fought through the accent. I can't do this.

    I enjoyed Vegas until he started rhyming wiener with wiener. I didn't bother downloading any of the tracks. His music is just too embarrassing for me to play around other people anymore.
    Lose yourself demo was pretty cool to listen to a few times.

    I have that with the first verse. The lyrics are good but him switching his voice to screaming after every few lines annoys me. Really like the song though. The 3rd verse >

    Who the h--- thought that bane was good enough to put on the album? Its horrible. The rest of the album isn't too bad

    The album isnt bad, but it isnt really good either, im not feeling em's new style. It just isnt pleasing to the ear like his old style. I guess its time for a change, but i wish it was a change for the better.

    the potential made me sad, but some tacks are growing on me, especially Fine Line, really love it.

    shady xv beat is really amazing...wish marshall was more open to beats like like

    Bane has got to be the worst song. Enjoyed Fine Line, Vegas & Psychopath Killer.
