    Since SL died before we got a chance to drop the last tape, @Cyreides and I figured it might be good idea to revive the project in order to actually get the music out and give the new forum a little exposure. I'm not sure how many rappers and producers made it over from SL, but if you're interested in submitting something, send either Cyreides or myself a message.

    Too soon. The last attempt at an album on SL flopped hardcore. Wait a few months until SXN80 has a real launch and a great deal of promotion before we try to put something together.

    I also think it's too soon. We may not need to wait a few months like LasiK said, but maybe like a month when this site has more of a presence. Also, do you guys still have all the tracks from the SL Album?

    We still have everything from the SL album thread. The plan was to make this a mix of those tracks and new s---.

    I might have a couple more tracks to contribute soon myself, but in the meantime how are we all feeling about the name of the mixtape? Are we going to use the same one that was originally planned to be used on SL (true synchronization), or do we change it?

    I've written some raps in my spare time, and plan on getting a mic. I'd be down to contribute, but I should probably come up with a name for myself first.

    I also agree that we should wait at the least another month, maybe two, before the forum puts out a tape. But I think it's a good idea and would love to contribute. I'm actually putting out my first mixtape this weekend, I'll make sure to post it to the forum, and if you check it out and like any of the tracks on it I'd be more than happy to let you use them.. Or I could record fresh material specifically for the sectioneighty tape. Either or, it doesn't matter, but I'd be more than happy to be involved in this.
