Jun 28, 2015 It's crazy how only a few years ago he released a great and memorable album and since that pinnacle he set himself he's slowly been on the decline I know a lot of people don't rate Recovery but I saw it as a new direction that worked and was executed well I see that the technical side has improved in some ways since recovery but what made recovery a great album was the storytelling, emotion and the depth which I prefer over the technical stuff Minus a few bad tracks then recovery had the potential to be a classic
Jun 28, 2015 For me it doesn't feel as a hip hop album... and I hate the amount of screaming of some songs
Jun 28, 2015 :proudem: Best imo Yeah, the album is good. It isn't much compared to his best trio but it's better than Encore, Relapse and MMLP2.
Jun 28, 2015 I don't know, it's a mix of some pop-ish songs, rock beats and hip hop verses sometimes. That being said, I enjoy it.
Jun 28, 2015 what if eminem's albums are all perfect because he's the fourth best selling male solo artist of all time and people just project their own problems onto his work
Jun 28, 2015 yeah, the material and lyrical content in Relapse was masterpiece. Recovery couldn't compare to Relapse about it. The formula of one emcee, one producer made the RELAPSE unique. Just a problem of the accent. Recovery was really random and yo, weak production. but i still liked it
Jun 28, 2015 I think using accents and having a serial killer concept is more random imo Recovery made more sense to me as there were so many topics addressed about his hiatus, death, overdose and the climb back to fame
