Bad/gay songs have been removed, and all the best song songs from his yelling phase have been mobilized to create a pretty decent album. It may not be quite a classic, and it would probably be a chore to sit through in full today, but as far as cohesive-sounding albums go I think this is the closest thing you're going to get to TES out of post-hiatus Eminem. Audio edits: Drop the World: removed Wayne's second verse Fly Away: removed "wipe my a---" line, abridged hook WTP: abridged first two hooks All She Wrote: removed T.I.'s verses, added scrapped Eminem verse back in Cocaine: abridged hook Let's Pretend: removed B.o.B's verse, abridged hook No Love: removed Wayne's verse Where I'm At: removed Lloyd Bank's verses HMWYBS: moved Eminem's verse to the beginning, abridged hook I Need a Doctor: abridged hook Q and A Q: Why did you edit out all the black people? A: I'm racist Q: Where the f--- is Seduction? A: I left it out because it sounds like s---. The hook is great but the jarring delivery of the verses completely killed the song for me.

Jun 19, 2022 ima be honest bro, i don’t like about 95% of those songs space bound let’s pretend also seduction IS better than every song on the list for the exact reason you don’t like it..slurred speech, dragging lines into the next bars..he does the beat justice by sort of melting with it
Jun 19, 2022 Recovery is a good album, especially for the time. SpaceBound, LTWYL and Not afraid may be mainstream sounding, but they are some of his strongest replay value songs. You can turn them on in public and everyone knows the lyrics. And for all the yelling he does, the songs still feel complete. The chorus for most of them are sing-along and not as cringe as encore or repetitive as relapse. Seduction & 25 to life are good examples of songs that make you want to rap along to. they are simple but get the message across. Also Going thru changes is his best rock inspired rap songs since Sing for the moment. It’s a 8/10 album all around.
Jun 19, 2022 I get the appeal. It's just lost all replay value for me. Then again I'm not sure I will ever revisit most of these songs again. Eminem is often more fun to talk about than to actually listen to.
Jun 19, 2022 Up until revival dropped recovery had always been my least favorite Em album. After revival it’s definitely recovery as his second worst album. Both are copy and paste verses of a man screaming cringe punchlines into generic pop production with already added hooks from SoundClick.

Jun 20, 2022 Seduction is good and probably the best song on Recovery for the reasons Jet said, but the subject matter is still bad to the point it nearly ruins it. If I take it as him actually rapping about sex/seducing a girl I can’t take it seriously because I don’t believe Eminem has had sex since Hailey was conceived. If I take it as he is metaphorically talking totally about rap/rappers/rap fans that is even more cringe so it’s tough to reconcile all that. Plus he is dead during the creation of this song.
Jun 20, 2022 Everything you said here was spot-on except for one pretty significant detail that tends to get overlooked. Namely, Eminem is not Hailey's biological father. Kim actually had Hailey with Eminem's uncle Ronnie (who committed suicide after they broke up). Eminem and Kim though never dated. Kim was just an old childhood friend who felt sorry for him for getting bullied by all the black chads in high school (most of whom she cheated on Ronnie with, LOL). She only came back into his life after he got famous and let him pretend they were dating for a while in exchange for financial support. So Eminem has never had sex (the real one that is, not sure about his replacement). Btw, what's a good picture of an intimidating looking black rapper I can use as my avatar that'll really show how cool and manly I am? One that'll really separate me from the boys on here. Thanks.
