Jul 25, 2026 at 5:44 AM Random thoughts… Contrary to every review site, The Eminem Show is by far his best album. His musical intuition seems to have peaked shortly before he recorded TES, during the time he was recording Devil’s Night. While I like Devil’s Night, it’s a shame we got an D12 album instead of an Eminem solo album from this period. Lose Yourself will go down as his most popular song. Sing For the Moment best exemplifies the issues he has fought for as an artist throughout his career. Say Goodbye To Hollywood is my personal favorite Eminem song, with Deja Vu as a close second. Eminem’s demonstrations of vulnerability across all facets of his life made his early music great. The very limited displays of vulnerability that have characterized most of his work since 2008 have substantially diminished his more recent music.
