But it wasn't the original and had nothing to do with the original. He even said in a interview how he regretted naming it that but he needed the money and was given $20,000 for doing it. And that he spent so many years promoting the original he just wanted to get it over with

Jul 5, 2026 I wonder how much control eminem has over shady records and even his own music. Because isn't shady a branch off of interscope like aftermath is? Even the backlash from his accent on relapse in the beginning. Crack a bottle was pretty d--- big and so was we made you. Always seemed a bit odd he flipped and didnt release relapse 2. Was that really his choice or the labels? And releasing R2 after 1 would of gave time for both. Or even releasing relapse 2 after recovery. And revival was COMPLETELY promoted as a different album. I dont know what went on there but looking at the promotion and hearing the album. It was like at the last minute the label said NOPE and took left overs from a few previous albums and just threw it out.

His time of signing i would assume features from 50 cent, Obie, game ect. This was still the time frame they were all working together.
