But with how bad this generation has been things are changing. You got Xbox heavily moving to the cloud as well. If anyone leaves consoles first it will likely be Xbox. PlayStation and Nintendo will try to hold on as long as they can. Nintendo Switch 2 sold really well so there’s definitely still a market for it. But if PS6 does as bad as PS5 Sony might be done with consoles, who knows. I’d say we at least have 2 more generations of consoles PS5 has been out for nearly 6 years with only 6 games to show for it lmao

Can't wait for GTA though. Yeah if that's the case you'llonly be wasting money buying a switch bro. They look good being handheld and all but yh I'd hold off.
Jun 10, 2026 at 6:41 PM It’s sad GTA 6 is like the only reason to have a console right now and that’s because it’s not coming to PC until like a year later probably. I’m also interested in the new Halloween game and the new Spyro game but those will both be on PC. In fact Spyro will be on Game Pass day 1 which I have, so I have no reason to get that on PlayStation other than the fact that he used to be a PlayStation character. To be fair to PlayStation I think the Wolverine game looks cool, still not sure if I’m gonna get it tho.

Some of the games from state of play look great. I liked the look of 3 or 4 titles. Sucks about God of War though but saying that I didn't really play the last one lol.
