May 20, 2026 at 11:20 AM Well, the finale of The Boys is out and I’m lowkey nervous to watch it. I really loved that show. Unfortunately, the nervousness is not because I’m excited. It’s because I know for a fact they f----- it up, and I’m just wondering how they f----- it up and how badly they f----- it up. I’ll probably watch it tonight. Hopefully it doesn’t get spoiled for me, I’ve already almost gotten spoiled by at least 2 different posts.

May 20, 2026 at 11:28 AM 1st season is great and by far the best season. After that the show keeps getting worse and worse, although seasons 2 and 3 are still good just not nearly as good as season 1. Then once we get to season 4 things really start going downhill and now we’re on this mess of season 5. Although, even at its worst the show is still very entertaining to me.

May 20, 2026 at 12:34 PM Probably not gonna like it if you already think they f----- up beforehand and expect them to. The finale was alright, better than most episodes from this season and the last. Like a lot of series that get more popular as they go on and then suddenly decide, out of nowhere, that it’s the final season, the writing and final season always end up feeling rushed and sloppy because of it. That’s why finales for popular series don’t necessarily land, not always because of the finale itself, but because of everything leading up to it. Unless you have a constant director and writer with a clear vision from season 1 all the way through, you’re always gonna get that hit and miss feeling to it all.

Even with most people trashing The Boys season 5, I have enjoyed the season. It just seems like they won’t have enough time to wrap up everything in the finale so it will probably be rushed and it also seems like they were more focused on trying to push the new spinoff. That’s good to hear, I trust your judgment. I’ll probably like it just fine then. Exactly. I heard they changed up the writers quite a bit for The Boys as the seasons went on and that’s likely a big reason for the show’s downfall. Although I also feel like the hate the show has been getting recently is quite exaggerated. Yeah season 5 isn’t great but I feel like a lot of people are just clickbaiting and ragebaiting with the overly negative opinions.

Spoiler: Spoiler Nothing happened with Soldier Boy, Butcher flips out only after seeing his dead dog when 2 minutes earlier he was ready to settle down. Homelander saying he would s--- his d-ck was really f---ing weird. They pumped up Sage's role for 2 seasons about her master plan and it ends with her losing her powers and being a moron was a weak copout. Homelander is immortal and couldn't k--- Butcher or his kid in a fight. Kimiko sat there for 5 minutes without Homelander just lasering her to death. The first 3 seasons were really good and it went off the rails.
May 20, 2026 at 4:25 PM Yeah, that’s due to last season being rushed. Finale plot makes sense but it’s all rushed into one episode. The plot and what happens is alright, just it’s all tied into one episode lol. It’s ridiculous and needed to span out over two seasons.
