May 16, 2026 at 7:01 AM If you decide to do Canada and wanna do the rockies s---t me a DM could help you plan. Been out there enough I know quite a few spots. Two more pictures for you I took on my last few days lol The top picture is my favorite because its beautiful but youll notice all the trees are burnt. Took it in Jasper National Park and they had a crazy forest fire 2 years ago, decimated a lot of the trees there. Still a really cool park to go too, tons of wild life.
May 16, 2026 at 4:11 PM It’s crazy how I was making threads here years ago about Gracie Abrams’s new albums basically talking to myself and then eventually she actually blew up like I always knew she would. The only problem is I stopped listening to her and stopped liking her music right around the time she blew up crazy coincidence but good for her.
May 17, 2026 at 6:09 AM Unbelievably corny garbage, put me down as a 3/10 for ice man unironically. Should’ve stopped making music after Views. May 18, 2026 at 6:13 AM @AOTWClub gonna tally Metallica tonight! Might be the first album I miss reviewing! Gonna try and get another full listen in today
May 18, 2026 at 4:37 PM I listened to the first half of Iceman on the exercise bike yesterday, and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. Honestly, I actually enjoyed it. The beats and flow sounded good to me. I’ll have to pay closer attention to the lyrics on my second listen.
May 18, 2026 at 5:16 PM Aight gonna try to review doom tomorrow And after 3 days of Iceman I think it's time to review it as well. As soon as I get Road Trips out of my head lmao
May 18, 2026 at 9:33 PM @AOTWClub @Justin Trudeau I usually do track by track but f--- it imma keep these Drake albums relatively short reviews. ICEMAN: Probably the best of the bunch, a ton of really good production. Make Them Cry is a good opener, but one of my complaints is that nothing was ever as interesting content wise after the first song. I thought it was gonna be something more introspective which wasn't the case at all. A LOT of cornball a--- lines but when he hits a flow state its some of his best in a while. I don't even feel like going into detail on the lyrics cause there's not much, from "under my arm like I'm ticklish" to using the Palestinian genocide as a gotcha to diss someone you don't like. It just isn't a good showing in that department outside of a couple songs. Songs like little Birdie are embarrassing and pretending like he's not phased after the beef while still throwing subs 2 years later and making the whole opener about how bad the situation made you feel makes no sense. A lot of it is treading the same ground as past albums but executed a bit better. Actually some slappers on here that i cant hate on at all. Favorite Songs: Make Them Cry, Whisper My Name, Plot Twist, National Treasures (some booty lines on this one but like the song itself) Review makes me sound like a hater but I do think it's honestly one of his better projects in a minute! Just has a similar problem to his other work which is a lack of quality control, especially for how long the album is. RATING 5.5/10 HABIBTI: The most snoozer album of the drops, a couple bits are promising but it ends up becoming background music and even then it's not great at it. I thought the intro was actually kind of interesting, not executed greatly but doing a more acoustic song was cool. Almost reminded me of a worse version of My Ex by Baby Keem, was slightly promising to me. WNBA wasn't terrible to me either! After that is when it kinda spun its wheels for the rest of the tracklist. Hurr Nor Thurr and Fortworth are godawful and White Bone could be decent but if it wasn't 5mins long for no reason. Favorite Songs: WNBA, Classic (the 2nd half) RATING 3.5/10 MAID OF HONOUR: I weirdly have the most respect for this one, its really stupid and a lot of it is bad but it's not taking itself seriously and the production is genuinely pretty interesting in ways that Drake doesn't meet. I would honestly like just an instrumental version. Hoe Phase wasn't awful imo, Road Trips is too long but the beat is cool. This album would have been better if the features just did the songs themselves, like Road Trips and Outside Tweaking would have been better if they were just Stunna Sandy songs cause she outrapped him anywahs and that goes for every song with a feature (except for Cheetah Print that is will always be bad) I thought Goose and The Juice was alright but it proves that Drake was much better with Abel at the helm lol. Time for my actual rant, Princess had an actual chance to be decent. I love Emo music that's s--- but he couldn't do it correctly, like I still don't even hate the song as much as other people but dude droned over a skeleton of a beat that could have been something cool. He's so afraid of fully committing to the genre shift that he doesn't even have f---ing drums to make it sound like anything resembling a song from the genre he's trying to crib. Favorite Songs: Hoe Phase, Outside Tweaking, Goose and The Juice, Princess (the idea not the execution.) RATING 4.5/10 but it's the most fun one imo
May 19, 2026 at 12:28 AM Metallica- and justice for all review So I found this album odd, especially for a Metallica album. Im not a huge Metallica head or anything, I know a good chunk of their work but wouldn't call myself a fan. Anyways, the one thing Metallica thrives on is rifts and this album is seriously lacking. Theyre not the same as they are on the master of puppets album or ride the lightning. It just seems lacking, and kinda different from the Metallica Id listened too before. Another thing I dont love about the album is how long the songs are, two of the songs are 10 minutes, and I dont think theyre bad theyre just way too long. I found this album dull and fairly weird, I dunno. I didnt hate it, it's just not an album i enjoyed. My favorite songs are Blackened and One. Im trying not to complete hate on this album, as Metallica has some gems, but this one just doesnt do it for me. 4.5/10 @AOTWClub I feel bad my review was the only bad one but id rather be honest with it than bs it.
May 19, 2026 at 12:35 AM Metallica- And Justice for all scored a 7.5 Dont forget to get your reviews in for Madvillian and Iceman and @Wreckless album when its posted! @AOTWClub
May 19, 2026 at 3:23 AM Madvillainy - MF Doom Okay. So, going in after all the stories about this being one of the best album ever made I had very very high expectations. Lets go! First (real) song: "Hey you, don't touch the mic like it's AIDS on it" "And get more cheese than Doritos, Cheetos or Fritos" "Slip like Freudian" "Your first and last step to playing yourself like accordion" Okay. Lyrical greatness for sure. Lmao I'm just being a d-ck. I don't mind (punch)lines like this just thought it was funny. I see the discussion (with other artist) a lot. Personally lyrics aren't that important to me except when it's the main goal of the song/artist. For example a diss song I obviously pay close attention to the lyrics and judge them, but I don't listen to a Pitbull song like 'man, these lyrics are corny'. Of course they are that is not the point of the song. Anyways. When I noticed this has 22 tracks I was like s---. But then I saw 45 minutes so short songs, nice. Less is more they say, but to me most of these songs are a bit too 'less'. Half of the songs are, or sound like intro's. Illest Villains Bistro Eye Sickfit Rainbows (lmao, production is cool tho) Do Not Fire Supervillain Theme Those are just intro's or interludes. With 22 songs that isn't bad but there are also a bunch of 1 or 1.5 minute songs that are over once they started. Just feels like a demo tape oe something. However, most of the 'actual' songs I like a lot: Meat Grinder, American's most Blunted, Money Folder, Fancy Clown, Strange Ways & Rhinestone Cowboy being my favorites. Let's just say this won't be my go to album in the future but I did add a handful of songs to my playlist. The rapping is on point though that's certainly not the issue. Just the many intro's, 1 minute freestyle type of songs aren't really my thing. @AOTWClub 6.7/10
