Drake needs a mega hit. Like God’s plan or in my feelings. I feel like these projects have everything what we have from his older albums except for the huge hits

He spent two years making what was supposed to be the most important album of his career, only to release what feels like a compilation of mixtape-tier diss tracks packed with subliminals at everyone who came at him, plus videos of him posing with lots—and lots—of guns. Really?

The first track hinted at actual maturity and growth. Then the album immediately devolved into 17 variations of “Mob Ties.”
