Apr 23, 2024 People pearl clutching over the use of AI in a hip-hop diss track look so silly considering the history of hip-hop beef. Rap artists have said some incredibly heinous s--- on diss tracks; people have died over this s---; but AI is where we draw the line lol.

Apr 25, 2024 I kind of get the sense that Kendrick really doesn’t give af about this hip-hop s--- that much anymore lol. It’s like a side gig for him now. He pops out when he has the urge to say something but it’s not in him to constantly make/put out music like he did in the GKMC era.
Apr 25, 2024 Idk we’d have to see how this year plays out. Apparently it was just the pandemic that prevented him from dropping cos he couldn’t tour. A lot of the songs were completed years before the release according to the leaks with the OG filenames. There’s also rumours he’s dropping again this year which makes sense with lighting up the game & the time gap between Mr. Morale completion to when he released it — must’ve been recording a bunch of stuff in between. Iirc the writing/sessions for GKMC started during S80 too so it does follow his previous trajectory but we’ll have to see how everything pans out.

Apr 26, 2024 Lol why are you fixated on the chart? The chart literally tells nothing here. You’re comparing a feature on a highly promoted album to a standalone diss track that wasn’t even on streaming services for the first week of its existence. It’s not meant to be catchy for radio play.
