Jan 14, 2022 No offense taken dude! All good. Em makes music for everyone, I just like his style and features on Revival. I think Em’s best era is 2011-2017
Jan 14, 2022 Revival, Shady XV, and MMLP2 are his best albums imo. Southpaw is also undeniably underrated
Jan 14, 2022 Are you actually from Connecticut? I have some family in New Haven. If you’re ever around, we should get a Pepe’s pizza and talk Eminem and Hip Hop. My treat.
Jan 14, 2022 He has never sounded so predictable as he does now though. If it’s just another good album or playing it safe then forget it. Shoehorning albums for sake of it because he likes to rap wouldn’t be good enough at this stage of his career. Kami and MTBMB are all good albums, third one of the same feeling would just look like he is playing it safe now. I think he needs to make a drastic change for next album and come up with something completely different and new. Take a risk, come up with a theme, concept and stick to it. Instead of being fearful of bad reactions, so just make music that most people will be content with that we’ve heard all before.
Jan 14, 2022 and about this, I like Walk On Water (surprising, huh?), 3rd verse of Believe is fire(but I don't like the previous ones), Untouchable is fire after the beat switch, River is ok, I like Remind Me a lot(idgaf about the booty heavy-duty line) love Tragic Endings, love Framed cause it reminds me of Relapse, I like Heat, madly in love with In Your Head and Castle, I like Arose but only after the "rewind". So now you could tell me, how is it bad if you like all these songs? Well first of all cause as I said I only like half of some the songs on that list, plus 5-6 REALLY BAD(for me) songs can't make an album good. Tell me why I'm wrong, I'm open minded
Jan 14, 2022 I'm not trying to be mean I've looked up to Em since I was a kid but No Favors makes me clench my cheeks.
Jan 14, 2022 Didn't like WTP but I really liked won't back down, a lot of the lyrics were corny but I loved the flow.
Jan 14, 2022 He has talked about watching the reaction channels in his interviews, it's fun watching some of them actually
Jan 14, 2022 It’s his most personal album to date. Everybody wanted a personal Em album and he delivered better than I could have ever imagined. He touched on topics about his fame, drugs, daughters, his ex wife, an abortion, fatherhood, and reflecting on his time as a husband. Castle/Arose literally make me tear up everytime I hear them. His pop and R&B features were top notch (Ed, Alicia, Pink, Beyonce, etc) just straight flames. His political lyrics sprinkled in were a nice touch. Glad to see him stand up for what he believes is right, even when I don’t agree with it. I like Trump, but thought it was mature of him to use his platform for what he believes in. The mixing and mastering was incredible. It has the best Skylar and Em collab to date. Lastly, Em and Rick Rubin go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. They mesh so well, and Em sounds awesome over rock beats. They just sound so natural and you can tell they are just having a good time and in a good and fun spot musically and in life. The “fun” songs on this album are his best and s--- all over MBDT A and B. That’s why I think it’s his best album. 10/10 imo
Jan 14, 2022 Yeah ok idiot. Please see my above post. Yeah a troll is really going to type all that out. You can look at my posts since 2017. I’ve liked Revival since the second I leaked it. f--- off hater
