Feb 13, 2021 After paying rent / water / electric bills etc. Examples: saving, travelling, going out, videogames, music, hobby's, clothes, car(s) charity.. For me its usually travelling & going out (pre and post corona). Now I'm saving mostly. I do spend a pretty big part on clothes as well even if thats like, a few times a year. And hobby's (going to Ams/Ajax) etc @LifeSXN
Feb 13, 2021 Clothing. I love fashion and style and I think I once was addicted to buying shoes and clothes. Everytime I finished an exam I was like: Alright let's buy some new drip for a treat. I managed to tone it down a bit thankfully.
Feb 13, 2021 I'm saving most of my money, but I also spend some on books, CDs and clothes. Sometimes going out, but me being antisocial c---- saves me from spending too much cheddar outside. If it's safe to say "pros of this pandemics" #cancelme is I wasn't out for months. They reopened cinemas in here tho and I'm going out to see some s-----y movie with wifey tomorrow lol.
Feb 13, 2021 They better open the cinema's here before october because I'm gonna raise some h--- if I cant see my movie smfh #Halloweenkillsoutoctober2041
Feb 13, 2021 This pandemic and saving money definitely got me buying more clothes too. Which is also kinda weird since barely go out except work lol
Feb 13, 2021 In saying that I've definitely saved my fair share of coin this past year. Been in a fortunate position I guess and it's one silver lining of non-travel. Would still rather utilise that dosh to see people in different states though
Feb 13, 2021 I work with customers, so I need more clothes, but if I was you I wouldn't buy any lol, working from home would be a blessing for me (I didn't post in that thread yet) Lol yeah, I like staying at home, I only go out when I need to, with wife and sometimes to bars/pubs, other than that its really hard to make me go out
Feb 13, 2021 For me the opposite is the case. I don't buy any clothes now because I like to try them on and not order them online. I bought a shitload of books and mangas tho. I guess that's my new money burner
Feb 13, 2021 So a slightly more detailed answer... I spend the vast majority of my disposable income on savings. Cash savings, stocks & shares, bonds etc. I'm heavily focused on being able to retire early and also setting my children up for financial success. Secondly a have a savings account just for holidays (vacations). We try to do one luxurious holiday a year and a couple of shorter ones. Luxurious tends to be a 2 week cruise. Shorter ones tend to be a staycation like a cottage in Devon or something like that and a week or 2 seeing family on Poland. After that comes beer! But not crazy amounts. £100 a month probably on keeping the fridge topped up with "relaxing beer" and being able to keep trying beers I've never had before. I'd love to say that this pandemic has helped me save more £££ because I haven't been able to spend money on holidays or socialising in general but I've now officially been off work more than I've been working over the last 12 months. I'm lucky to still have my job waiting for me when we return to normal and the Government is paying 80% of my wage but that missing 20% was basically my disposable income. Everything I earn now is just for day-to-day living. For the most part anyway. Can't wait to get back to work properly so I can have cash again to plan something to look forward to!
Feb 13, 2021 Aight. Also I don't work from home all the time, 50/50 haha Oh yeah ur married now, but before as well ?
Feb 13, 2021 d--- I order online 95% of the time tbh. My size is always the same for clothes (few exceptions), size M
Feb 13, 2021 Hope u can get back to work soon bro! U told me before I think but what exactly do you do ?
Feb 13, 2021 I've run pubs and restaurants for years. Great job! Really social and just really fun when it all goes right. And great money and perks.
Feb 13, 2021 Before marriage and being in relationship I was just hanging out with 2 homies from time to time, but still it was hard for them to talk me into going out lol
