    when em started using the 'battle em all' voice he was just trying to come up with a new character, literally anything that didn't sound like marsh or m&m. it wasn't like he was going ok, this is how I want people to remember me forever. the voice didn't even make it a full cd before it was replaced with the role model hook/k--- you delivery. he still uses some of the flows he came up for em on encore to this day and he's moving farther and farther from slim as time goes on

    I can respect that. For me it's 50% beat, 25% flow,25% lyrics. The lyrics need to be really bad for me to get pissed off.

    it amazes me that so many people think each album since the first or second has been progressively worse than the last. I like to think each has improved in some way

    yea see thats where we differ, lyrics too me are hugely important, im also a big fan of technical ability
    to quote one of ems lil word things he did just messing around
    "im an illiterate inconsiderate idiot, im not witty wit it not even an itty bit and you pity it"
    that sort of thing is amazing to me, i mean yea the beat is important but the general content is really whats most important.

    i like encore personally, but i know its a---.

    the flow and technicaly ability on tracks like rhyme or reason is what i like, im also a sucker for classic rock samples being a music fan and that sample is sick as s---, he r---d that beat.

    you can prefer anything, but to say something that is utter s--- is better than something that is decent is wrong.

    Imo encore, relapse, encore, mmlp2.. you can make a case for all of them being his worst.. for different reasons. I think personal preference puts them in order (mostly)

    @Jackie Onassis Evil Deeds, Never Enough, Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird, Crazy In Love, One Shot Two Shot, and Encore were all good songs.

    The worst part about all his albums since Encore is the potential they had to be great. So many opportunities wasted. They're bad just for that.
