    Oooo keen!

    There was a recent remake of Pinocchio which had a slightly more realistic and darker depiction of the tale. Wonder if this remake will keep that Disney magic or go with the realism of the tale.

    yeah zemeckis can be very cloying and gets lost in the cgi effects innovation imo. I’m not looking forward to this personally (edit as much as I love hanks and look forward to be reuniting w his Forrest Gump cast away director)

    Joel agreed at the “darker” aspects (French magical realism is a good tonal match) but I did chuckle at u saying ‘realistic’ slightly lol. Ik what u mean tho
